DAVION is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data. Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with Personal Data Protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and other applicable legislation. DAVION respects the best practices in terms of security, respect for privacy and the protection of personal data. The definitions and terms used in this document are taken from Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Definition of personal data

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as GDPR) on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of such Data, the definition of personal data comprises any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, such as name, address, e-mail address, age, marital status, identification number, location data, electronic identifiers, specific elements of the physical, genetic, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.


Processing of personal data

The personal data collected by DAVION is only necessary for managing the provision of the contracted services, as well as if authorised for marketing purposes. In the context of contracts, particularly labour contracts, some personal data must be provided. The personal data collected is the minimum necessary, according to the purpose for which it is collected. The purpose of the personal data collected is to manage contractual relations and provide services. In cases where it is necessary to obtain the consent of the data subject at the time of data collection, more specific information will be provided on the purpose, use, storage and possible transfer to third parties of the personal data collected.


Data subjects’ rights
 
DAVION guarantees, with regard to the Personal Data collected, that the respective Data Subjects may, at any time, request the Data Protection Officer, through the means of contact mentioned below, to exercise their rights, such as the following: access, rectification, portability, limitation of processing, opposition to processing, deletion under the following conditions: the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed, or the data subject withdraws consent, where consent is the legal basis, or the data subject objects to the processing and where there are no overriding interests present or underlying the retention of the data that legitimise its maintenance and the refusal of such objection, or the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed. The data subject may request the deletion of their personal data whenever it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and whenever they wish to withdraw their consent, although their request does not affect the previous lawful processing. This request will be complied with as long as it does not conflict with any legal requirement or contractual need regarding the retention period of personal data.
